The California Air Resources Board has approved Greenkraft’s conversions of General Motors 4.8-liter V-8 to dedicated natural gas operation.

Greenkraft has secured CARB approval to convert 4.8-liter GM V-8s to dedicated natural gas operation.

The certification is applicable to 14,000 GVRW and above vehicles, the company said.

“The CARB certification is especially important because several states have either adopted or are in the process of adopting California’s emissions standards,” Greenkraft sales director Frank Ziegler says in a release.

“These states include New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Maryland and Florida,” Greenkraft says.
