Call It a Warm-Up for Broader EIS 2014 Meeting in Washington
Transportation Energy Partners, the non-DoE non-profit made up of Clean Cities leaders, is staging a webinar on January 30 to review natural gas vehicle and NGV fueling infrastructure developments. TEP is hosting the EIS 2014 Energy Independence Summit March 30-April 2 in Washington, D.C.
Next week’s NGVAmerica-supported webinar features sales chief Mark Aubry of Westport and Clean Energy Fuels eastern region VP Mark Riley discussing
- Westport product updates since the acquisition of BAF (from Clean Energy) and other progress on NGVs;
- Clean Energy’s development of new fueling system infrastructure;
- Clean Energy’s development of renewable natural gas (tradenamed “Redeem”); and
- joint Clean Energy-Westport joint incentives for the purchase of natural gas vehicles and fuel.
The January 30 webinar runs from 2:00pm to 3:00pm EST.
TEP bills its annual EIS conference as “the nation’s premier alternative fuels policy event,” bringing together clean transportation stakeholders and Clean Cities coalition representatives “to share best practices and educate federal policy makers about the need for incentives, tools and resources to overcome the barriers to the widespread deployment of cleaner vehicles and fuels.”
Representatives from more than 50 of the nearly 100 Clean Cities coalitions and 125 clean transportation industry leaders attended last year’s EIS.
EIS 2014 is being held March 30-April 2 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport.
