AFV Offers NGV Contract Assembly

Complements Bent Tube and Hose Fuel Line Componentry

AFV Natural Gas Fuel Systems has added contract assembly services to its line of fitting and tubes for natural gas vehicles, offering to manufacture, inspect, and test such assemblies as fill panels, tank configuration assemblies, fuel manifolds and pressure regulator filter assemblies.

“In addition to providing NGV bent tube and hose fuel line assemblies, fittings, valves and other associated components, AFV has the people, equipment, tools and technology required to fulfill many assembly projects,” the company says.

AFV further describes itself as “a full service partner capable of providing application assistance, reverse engineering, prototyping, value engineering, design for manufacturability and assembly, product leak/pressure testing, documented manufacturing and quality data, and supply chain and Inventory management solutions.”


“This new service will certainly help our customers reduce cost and shorten their order cycle,” AFV GM Kevin Dickey says in the assembly services announcement.

And, “Our customers can continue to rely on our strong history of maintaining confidentiality agreements when manufacturing their designs.”

AFV, founded in 2009, is a TS16949- and ISO 9001-certified company. It claims AGA Systems, Altech-Eco, AM General, Palmer Trucks, Impco, Mainstay, NatGasCar and Westport among its customers.
