CleanFuel USA is helping spread previously secured federal ARRA grant funding to Clean Cities stakeholders nationwide, offering money on a first-come-first-saved basis for propane autogas vehicles, and fueling infrastructure.
CleanFuel USA’s American Recovery and Investment Act partners include the Texas State Technical College and Grapevine, Texas-based Public Solutions Group. Several million dollars remains available.
The vehicle incentives are applicable to the GM G4500 cutaway chassis for shuttles and school buses, as well as commercial box trucks and utility vehicles – provided the vehicles employ CleanFuel USA’s liquid propane fuel injection system.
Propane fueling infrastructure funds are available for either public access stations or school districts. CleanFuelUSA provides dispensers and storage tanks with site owners responsible for permitting and construction.
CleanFuel USA’s Southern California rep Jon Van Bogart is handling the applications.
