Dave Jones, Inc. & the Fillback Family of Dealerships Join Alliance
Alliance AutoGas is talking up two new members in Wisconsin, as Dave Jones, Inc. and the Fillback Family of Dealerships have signed on, converting vehicles to propane-gasoline bi-fuel operation. The two Madison-area firms are using Prins VSI conversion equipment, and are working with Charter Fuels for propane supply.
Dave Jones has converted seven of its Ford E-350s van to run on autogas, and Fillback has converted customer vehicles that include Ford Crown Victoria cruisers, Ford E-350 vans and a Chevrolet Silverado truck.
Dave Jones is a mechanical contractor that provides plumbing, fire protection and HVAC services. Fillback sells Chrysler, Ford and GM vehicles.
“We already offer green options like geothermal technology and energy efficient HVAC equipment for our customers, so operating our service fleet vehicles on clean fuel was a logical next step,” Dave Jones president David Jones says in an Alliance AutoGas release.
Alliance AutoGas for Prins
“Propane autogas is ideal for a range of vehicle types, whether your fleet is comprised of light- and medium-duty trucks and vans, school buses, law enforcement patrol cars, taxi cabs, or limousines,” said Fillback owner Mark Fillback. “Autogas offers comparable performance to gasoline while being cost-effective to implement.”
Alliance AutoGas is the exclusive U.S. distributor of Prins propane gear, including bi-fuel Prins vapor sequential injection kits, which are EPA-certified for more than 200 vehicle types.
Blossman Services, a subsidiary of Alliance AutoGas founding partner Blossman Gas, manages the Autogas Technology Center in Asheville, N.C. The Center is U.S. distribution hub for the Prins line, providing warranty support and training, and conducting autogas equipment R&D.
