Operator Go Riteway in Wisconsin Is Paying Just $2 per Gallon
To Fuel 20 New Blue Bird Buses with Roush CleanTech Systems
Students in Oak Creek, Wisc. are riding to school in 20 Blue Bird buses fueled with propane autogas, reports Roush CleanTech.
Operator Go Riteway has deployed ten new 78-passenger Blue Bird Vision school buses and ten 30-passenger Micro Bird buses for the Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District, Roush reports. They have Roush’s liquid propane autogas fuel system fitted to their 6.8-liter Ford engines
Go Riteway is paying just $2 per gallon for the cleaner fuel, as compared to an average of $3.85 average for a gallon of diesel in the area, Roush says.
