Fleets Can Get as Much as $15,000 for New Truck or Conversions
On the fence about propane autogas? Need a bit of a boost to try it for your fleet? ProCoT – the Propane Council of Texas – is promoting an incentive of up to $15,000 per fleet – $5,000 apiece for as many as three converted vehicles, or $7,500 apiece for two new ones.
“The funds are seed money for fleets for to try their first two or three propane autogas vehicles,” ProCOT education and marketing director Jackie Mason said in a release.
“We believe after their first couple of propane autogas vehicles fleets will see the benefits of going propane without the incentive and continue to adopt propane into their fleet.”

“The money is from a grant through the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC), our national counterpart,” she told F&F.
In return for the ProCoT funding, incentive recipients will be required to provide data on their operations.
