PERC Is Supporting 2014 National Event on October 17,
Alt Fuels Training Consortium Seeks Additional Sponsors
West Virginia University’s National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium has lined up the Propane Education & Research Council as a primary sponsor for 2014 and has set October 17 for the next National Alternative Fuel Vehicle Odyssey Day.
NAFTC is looking for additional sponsors for the nationwide event.
2014 marks a dozen years for the nationally coordinated spate of alt fuels gatherings, which has grown from 51 sites hosting some 17,000 attendees in 2002 to 152 events with 250,000 attendees in 2012.
“While AFVs are widely known across the U.S., many people still have misconceptions about their quality, safety, and efficiency,” NAFTC says. “Odyssey helps to educate consumers, fleet managers, and policy makers on these matters.”
