The 16 Ford cargo vans and nine Ford pickups equipped with Roush CleanTech propane autogas fuel systems will save Halco some $600,000 over their expected service life, Roush says, adding that Halco aims to transition 75% of its total fleet to autogas over the next four years.

Halco is reportedly planning to install a 16,000-gallon propane fueling station, too.

Separately, Roush is gearing up for an event this Thursday, August 21, announcing 30 Blue Bird Vision vehicles with Roush fuel systems for Mobile County Public Schools, Alabama’s largest school system and the first in the state to go with propane.
