Roush CleanTech Says Details to Be Released at NGPA in Atlanta
Roush CleanTech said this morning that AmeriGas Propane, the nation’s largest retail propane supplier, is more than doubling its propane autogas fleet with the purchase of 50 Ford F-550 trucks, equipped with cranes for propane tank delivery.
The new trucks join 35 that were deployed at the end of 2013, Roush says.
“AmeriGas will announce their autogas fleet growth during the NPGA Southeastern Convention and International Propane Expo in Atlanta,” Roush says. The NGPA Expo runs this weekend, April 11-13.
“As a propane marketer, we strongly believe in the autogas initiative,” AmeriGas corporate fleet manager Jay Massey says in the Roush release.
“Over the lifetime of the Ford F-550 vehicles, more than 12.7 million pounds of carbon dioxide will be eliminated from AmeriGas’ total carbon footprint,” Roush says.
