Ford is talking up the $550 million upfit of MAP, its venerable Michigan Assembly Plant, for a line of common-platform gasoline and electric-drive vehicles, but has chosen case-by-case upfits by half a dozen aftermarket firms, designated Qualified Vehicle Modifiers (QVMs), for compressed natural gas and propane.

Go Group Members Like Gaseous Fuels

The Go Group, which claims to be the world’s largest airport shuttle provider, says that while the shared-ride transportation it provides “is inherently eco-friendly,” some of its member companies are going further by investing in alternative fuels.

Go Shuttle Express in Seattle has 43 propane-fueled vehicles, the parent firm says. Go Shuttle Express has both dedicated-propane vans with Roush Cleantech systems, and bi-fuel vans with Icom North America systems installed by Seattle-based World CNG.
