American Power Group said Monday that a follow-on order for 14 trucks by WheelTime dealer Clarke Power Services makes for the largest APG dual fuel fleet thus far deployed.

American Power Group reports an order for ten of its APG Turbocharged Natural Gas Systems from Iowa-based W.W. Transport. The APG gear allows older diesel trucks to operated on a combination of diesel and natural gas fuel. The order was placed via Clarke Power Services a regional WheelTime dealer, APG said.

Toledo Firm Makes $800,000 Commitment, LNG or CNG Options,
Sales Via Ervin Equipment and DDC Series 60 Engines from Clarke

American Power Group is promoting another outlet for the dual fuel kits it says can slash the cost of heavy-duty natural gas trucks. Toledo, Ohio-based Ervin Equipment will retail finished vehicles, and according to APG has committed $800,000, enough to cover APG kits for 80 vehicles.
