Bi-Fuel an $11,000 Option on GM Pickups

GM is asking $11,000 above the suggested base-vehicle price for its compressed natural gas bi-fuel 2013 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra 2500HD pickups, and began taking orders this past Thursday. With gasoline and diesel prices rising, operators with a CNG option could save $5,000 to $10,000 over a three-year period, GM says.

Conventional Sierra 2500HD pickups in California range in price from $29,100 to $49,985.
