East Bay Clean Cities Event February 20 in Suisun City, Calif.


The East Bay Clean Cities Coalition is hosting its no-cost Plug-in Electric Vehicle Showcase at the Suisun City Corps Community Center in Suisun City, Calif. (between Sacramento and San Francisco) on February 20.

EBCC promises hands-on electric vehicle and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle equipment exposure and presentations by all the major EV and PHEV vehicle manufacturers, funding providers, and support equipment vendors, followed by an afternoon ride-and-drive.

PG&E Touts Altec ‘e-WIMS’ Buckets

Says It Will Add 127 Altec Battery Lift Trucks in 2013

Pacific Gas and Electric says it will add 127 bucket trucks with battery-powered Altec aerial lifts during 2013, augmenting 320 it now has. “By 2017, the utility plans to have over 700 e-WIMS trucks in its fleet,” PG&E transportation services director Dave Meisel said in a Tuesday release.

East Bay Clean Cities is spreading the word that Calstart and the California Air Resources Board have slated two San Francisco Bay Area workshops for HVIP, the California Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project.

Workshops canceled on Sept 10 with apologies for short notice!
