Tote Maritime has extended its congratulations to Jax LNG, noting that the joint venture between Pivotal LNG and NorthStar Midstream has received an LoA/letter of acceptance from the U.S. Coast Guard to operate a new waterfront liquefied natural gas plant and terminal at Dames Point in Jacksonville, Fla.

Korean Reports Delivery of Engineering Service
And the ‘Total Cargo Handling Equipment Package’
For Barge to Fuel Tote’s Pioneering Container Ships

Korea’s Gas Entec reports the successful delivery of engineering services and a “total cargo handling equipment package” for a new barge that will be based in Jacksonville, Fla. and used to transfer liquefied natural gas fuel to two container ships operating in the Caribbean. The barge was ordered by Clean Marine Energy in early 2015.
