TM4 Is in Venture for a New Drivetrain

Partners PSA Peugeot Citroën, Exagon Motors, and Quebec:
‘A Major Breakthrough for TM4 in the Passenger Car Industry’

TM4 is promoting its role in a joint venture to develop a new drivetrain for electric vehicles. The partners are PSA Peugeot Citroën, Exagon Motors, TM4 parent Hydro-Québec and the government of Québec. The new drive is to draw on technology developed for the TM4 Motive system, which employs the firm’s CO150 inverter and HSM60 motor.

Quebec’s Electric Circuit Teaming with National VERnetwork

The Canadian electric vehicle charging networks Electric Circuit (founded by the Hydro Quebec utility) and ADDÉnergie’s VERnetwork are planning for “total interoperability” according to a phase-in schedule beginning in June.

TM4 in China for e-Trucks, Buses

Canada’s TM4, a subsidiary of Hydro-Quebec, has agreed to form a sino-foreign equity joint venture company named Prestolite E-Propulsion Systems (Beijing) Limited.
