Manufacturer Reports Contract for 13 Sixty-Foot Xcelsior Buses

New Flyer said Monday that it has a contract from Southern California’s Long Beach Transit for 13 of its 60-foot Xcelsior articulated buses, fueled by compressed natural gas.

Whittlesea-Bell Transportation Commits to 229 New CNG Vehicles

Clean Energy Fuels is talking up the pending deployment of 229 new compressed natural gas vehicles by Whittlesea-Bell Transportation in Las Vegas, and said that the taxi, bus and limo operator plans to switch its entire fleet to CNG by 2016. Whittlesea-Bell Transportation – aka Bell Trans – operates some 950 vehicles in all.
