Opening of Second of Three CNG Stations Celebrated in Maryland

Washington Gas celebrated the opening of a new Trillium CNG fueling station in Forestville, Md. this week, and noted that the public access facility is the second of three. The station is owned by Washington Gas and will be operated and maintained by Trillium.

Baltimore Firm Targets 60 Propane Vehicles, Says Roush,
‘Delivers Bread and Sustainability with Alt Fuel Vehicles’

Baltimore-based H&S Bakery has unveiled Ford F-59 chassis delivery trucks with dedicated-propane autogas fuel systems by Roush CleanTech. The initial deployment is 16 vehicles. “Over the next two years,” Roush says, “H&S aims to operate about 10% of their current 600-vehicle fleet with propane autogas.” updated December 23

Natural Gas Voucher Incentive Program Until May

The Maryland Energy Administration is offering vouchers to help offset the cost of natural gas vehicles – up to $20,000 for vehicles with GVWs greater than 26,000 pounds. Awards limited to five per operator.
