It’s a First, Company Says, ‘Without Any Government Incentives’

Workhorse reports a breakthrough agreement with “a major transportation company” to supply 125 of its range-extended E-Gen electric delivery truck chassis. “This order is unique in that it is the first significant order from a major package delivery company without any government incentives,” Workhorse Group, Inc. says in its just-filed 10-Q statement.

Could Lead to Five-Seven Years’ Worth of Business Worth $5 Billion-Plus

The U.S. Post Office, following an RFI process initiated in January, has named 15 companies it will ask to bid for its Next Generation Delivery Vehicle – some 180,000 units at an estimated price of $25,000 to $35,000 apiece, or $5.4 billion in total assuming the median figure.
