California Company Wins $1.6 Million NYPA Contract,
Will Use Eaton Gear But Cites OCPP as Winning Factor

Los Angeles-based EV Connect has a contract worth $1,568,108 from the New York Power Authority for the deployment and management of more than a hundred electric vehicle charging stations in 37 locations throughout New York State.

Money Is Intended for Rural and Community-Owned Fleets

The New York Power Authority has approved an additional $2 million to help municipal and rural electric cooperative systems purchase electric-drive vehicles. More than 50 such organizations are eligible.
