Seeks Proposals by March 31 for New Fast-Fill Facility
The Ohio State University in Columbus has issued a request for qualifications for a new compressed natural gas fueling station, allocating $2.5 million for the project.
“The CNG station will be used to provide fast fill to a variety of light and heavy vehicles,” states the OSU RFQ. The scope of work includes natural gas dryers, compressors, storage, distribution and dispensing equipment, as well as subgrade and site work.
OSU seeks input too on the capacity and size of the new station, which according to project manager Al Stazzone will be for university vehicles only. OSU currently operates four CNG buses, he told F&F.
The response deadline for project number OSU-150418 is March 31.
