Kenworth trucks continue to be outfitted for compressed natural gas operation in Indianapolis by Palmer Trucks, using CNG cylinder arrays developed by Trilogy Engineered Systems in Stow, Ohio.

$2.4 Million for Fueling Station with Trillium CNG in Lafayette, Ind.

AmpCNG is trumpeting an agreement with Subaru hauler Venture Logistics for a $2.4 million compressed natural gas fueling outlet at a Super Pantry Travel Center in Lafayette, Ind. The station is being built by the AmpTrillium joint venture with Trillium CNG. updated December 20

Boss-Mounted CNG Tanks for 12-Liter Biomethane T660s for Fair Oaks

Ohio’s Trilogy Engineered Systems will supply boss-mounted CNG tanks in side-rail assemblies for new and more powerful Kenworth T660s for hauling milk between northern Indiana’s Fair Oaks Dairy and Kroger processing facilities to the south. Their Trilogy units will be installed by Palmer Trucks in Indianapolis.

Monarch Beverage Goes with CNG

Kenworth Trucks with Vocational Energy for Fueling

Indianapolis-based Monarch Beverage is talking up a $6.7 million project to convert 85% of its fleet to compressed natural gas, tapping Vocational Energy to build an on-site fueling station. Monarch has been testing a Kenworth T660 with the new ISX12 G engine from Cummins Westport for more than a year, and is expected to take delivery of ISX12 G-powered T800s in 2013.
