Parker Hannifin RunWise Drivelines in Autocar E3 Refuse Trucks

South Florida’s Miami-Dade County has ordered 29 additional Autocar E3 refuse trucks with the fuel-saving RunWise brand series hydraulic hybrid driveline from Parker Hannifin. Miami-Dade was an early adaptor of the technology, helping prove efficiency gains as great as 51%.

The City of Santa Cruz, Calif. will test three different Autocar trucks to see how compressed natural gas and a hydraulic hybrid drive compare with straight diesel.
