‘Platoon’ System for Highway Trucks Shown to Reduce Fuel Use

Volvo Group Venture Capital says it’s invested in Peloton Technology, developer of a “truck platooning system” Volvo describes “as an integrated safety, efficiency and analytics platform that builds on advanced safety technologies such as collision mitigation and adaptive cruise control systems.”
