Webinar Tuesday and Williamsport Workshop on March 26
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has opened its Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant program for light duty natural gas vehicles as well as other alternative fuels for fiscal 2014-2015, making available approximately $8 million.
School districts, municipal authorities, political subdivisions, incorporated non-profit entities, and corporations or partnerships registered to do business in Pennsylvania may apply.

“Grant applications will also be accepted for innovation technology projects that include research, training, development and demonstration of new applications or next phase technology related to alternative transportation fuels and alternative fuel vehicles,” DEP says.
Applicants are encouraged to participate in a Tuesday, March 11 webinar, and there will be an Alternative Fuel Vehicle Workshop at the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, in Lycoming County (north-central Pennsylvania), on the morning of March 26.
