Autogas Event on March 27 Kicks Off AltCarExpo Texas
Organizers of the 2014 Propane Engine Fuel Summit are urging Texas municipalities, school districts and businesses to come discuss the benefits – and challenges – of fueling with propane autogas.
Representatives of the City of Fort Worth, Dallas County Schools, Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities and Northwest Propane Gas will discuss propane autogas fueling infrastructure, economic and environmental factors, and equipment.
‘Driving Job Creation’
“As the leading alternative fuel in the United States, propane autogas has come a long way since it first appeared as an engine fuel in 1913,” says Curtis Donaldson, managing director and founder of Georgetown, Texas-based CleanFuel USA. He’s to discuss The Future of Propane Autogas.
“The possibilities for this fuel are just getting started,” Donaldson said in an event release. “This American-made resource is saving more than just cash at the pump. It’s driving job creation and energy security by keeping our fuel dollars within our own economy.”
AltCar Expo Texas Follows the Propane Summit
The Propane Engine Fuel Summit is organized by TSN Communications. Participation will be available via a free online webcast on March 27, sponsored by the North Central Texas Council of Governments.
In addition to the above, the Summit agenda includes fleet managers with propane autogas experience, and executives from the Propane Education & Resource Council, Roush CleanTech, and the Industrial Truck Association.
The Summit kicks off AltCarExpo Texas, now in its fifth year, organized by Platia Productions, runs March 27-29.
