Sparq for CNG in Southern Colorado

Trinidad Station with Duran Oil to be the First Public in Region

Oklahoma City-based Sparq Natural Gas is to build two compressed natural gas stations in southern Colorado, marking the first public access CNG availability in the region. The stations are to be built in Trinidad, followed by Pueblo. Both towns are on Interstate 25 connecting Denver and Albuquerque.

Station in Liberal for First Public Access in Southwest Kansas

Sparq Natural Gas is spreading the word that the convenience store operator Hutch’s will open the first public access compressed natural gas fueling station in southwest Kansas, on July 1 in Liberal, near the Oklahoma line.

Three former leaders of Chesapeake Energy’s compressed natural gas vehicles efforts – which ended abruptly as the E&P company retrenched this past September – have emerged with the new Sparq Natural Gas, LLC. They are moving quickly to help establish a fueling infrastructure for NGVs, and provide consulting and advisory services.
