Delivery Van for UPS and for Pentagon’s SPIDERS Program

Colorado’s UQM Technologies this morning disclosed a three-year supply agreement with neighboring Boulder Electric Vehicle for electric motors and controllers for all-electric trucks, including delivery vans for UPS and for work in connection with the Department of Defense SPIDERS grid security program.

Colorado Firm Claims the First V2G for Battery Trucks

Boulder Electric Vehicle chose last week’s ACT Expo 2013 in Washington, D.C. to talk up a demonstration of bi-directional DC fast charging with Michigan’s Coritech Services. The test, Bouldersays, makes it “the first electric truck company ever to successfully implement Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) charging.”
