Southern California’s Creative Bus Sales reports a sale of 17 compressed natural gas shuttle buses for the Tampa International Airport.
The Ford E-450 chassis, Starcraft body shuttles were converted to CNG using engine upfit kits from BAF Technologies with lightweight Type IV all-composite fuel cylinders from Lincoln Composites. Per-vehicle capacity is 30 GGE-gasoline gallon equivalents.
Creative Bus Sales reports a sale of 17 CNG-fueled airport shuttle buses for Tampa International by its new Transit Plus unit in Florida, with BAF upfits performed by its Green Alternative Systems unit in Elkhart, Ind.
The vehicles were sold though Creative’s new Transit Plus dealership in Tampa, with the conversions of the 6.8-liter gaseous-prep engines performed by Creative’s Green Alternative Systems unit in Elkhart, Ind.
