Nation’s First Commercial-Scale Plant, Dubbed ‘Project Liberty’

The U.S. Department of Energy is celebrating today’s start-up of “Project Liberty,” a $275 million, 25-million-gallons-per-year cellulosic ethanol plant in Emmetsburg, Iowa.
