Workhorse unveiled an eVTOL – hybrid-electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing – aircraft at last week’s Paris Air Show. Building Anticipation for Early May ACT Expo Launch

The clean-slate W-15 PHEV pickup will have 80 miles of all-electric range, achieve a fuel efficiency rating of 75 MPGe/miles per gallon of gasoline-equivalent in all-electric mode, will have true four-wheel drive, and be equipped for 7.2 kilowatts of export power, according to preliminary specs released this week.

Reports Letters of Interest from Duke Energy, Orlando,
Says W-15 Will Be First-Ever Electric Pickup from OEM

Workhorse is developing a range-extended electric pickup with a 2018 production target, the company said yesterday. Duke Energy is supporting the effort with a letter of interest, as is the city of Orlando, Workhorse says.
