Cloud-Based Software Can Help Track Alt Fuels Performance
Southern California’s Telogis has introduced “Fleet 11” as the latest version of cloud-based software product that connects vehicles in the field with management in the office. “Fleet 11 features mobile application enhancements and new maps that are optimized for mobile devices, allowing supervisors and operations leads to easily visualize vehicles, assets and workers,” the company says.
The products “actionable analytics” capabilities allow managers to monitor driver behavior as well as vehicle performance and maintenance needs, in part via sensor installation agreements with manufacturers including Ford and Volvo/Mack Trucks.
“The trifecta of connected location intelligence, understanding what’s happening with drivers behind the wheel and the ability to derive actionable analytics from that data is really what drives business transformation for our customers,” Telogis product management Mark Wallin said in a release.
‘Dashboards, Alerts, and Driver Behavior Scorecards’
“Telogis Fleet 11 raises the bar by turning data into true business intelligence, helping companies make more informed decisions that make their businesses run smarter,” he said.
“Customers looking to justify/validate their investment in alternative fuels and look to Telogis to assist,” Wallin told F&F. The new software includes “dashboards, alerts, and driver behavior scorecards that assist in understanding fuel consumption and impacts from fuel or driving behavior or both,” he said.
Fleet 11 is said too to be the industry’s first location and data-gathering to connect “partners’ and contractors’ workers and assets on one screen so that project information can be shared among multiple users to maximize productivity and operational efficiencies.”
