NAFA Handling Full Day of Fleet Professional Sessions on Friday

The New Jersey-based NAFA Fleet Management Association will anchor a full day of sessions at the 2014 AltCar Expo and Conference in Santa Monica, Calif. later this week. NAFA is promising “instruction and case studies in fuel management, a CAFM Boot Camp session devoted to the fuel management fleet discipline, and an in-depth look at NAFA’s Sustainable Fleet Standard Program which is set to launch in 2015.” updated September 16

The 9th Annual AltCar Expo & Conference takes place at the Santa Monica Civic Center September 19-20. The no-charge day for fleet professionals is Friday, September 19.

altcarexpo+NAFAThe sessions led by NAFA professional development strategist Katherine Vigneau and VP Bryan Flansburg will “offer fresh perspectives on all of fleet’s eight disciplines and provide attendees with true, actionable information that they can use to improve their fleets.”

‘Share Best Practices with Peers’

“The pairing of NAFA with the AltCar Expo and Conference makes perfect sense and offers a tremendous two-day base-jump into this new dynamic for the industry,” NAFA CEO Phillip Russo said in a release today.

“The AltCar Expo and Conference is designed specifically to address the issues on the minds of alternative fuel vehicle industry professionals, government agencies, and fleet managers,” Santa Monica fleet superintendent Rick Sikes says in the NAFA release.

“It’s an opportunity to share best practices with peers and get an understanding of what’s coming next in terms of policy, innovation, and products,” Sikes said.
